TiN AND TiCH FRAMES
Pacific Bay has continued to offer guide frames in various coatings and platings. The newest and most innovative of these have been our TiGOLD™ (titanium nitride or TiN) and TiCH (titanium carbide) that is applied over chromed stainless steel. This formulation of hardness, flexibility and adhesion provides superb corrosion and abrasion resistance. |
SILICON CARBIDE RINGS (SiC)
 Precision molded in Japan, SiC rings are at the top of our line. They are diamond polished to the smoothest possible surface among the “ceramic” materials. Silicon Carbide will provide the ultimate in abrasion, corrosion, and thermal shock resistance, a performance plus on any rod where line speed, friction, and heat build-up are at the maximum.
